Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Jurnal Analis Kesehatan Kendari is a scientific journal that publishes scientific articles in the field of health analysis. Articles published in the journal Jurnal Analis Kesehatan Kendari include scientific research results that have never been published anywhere else.
  2. Jurnal Analis Kesehatan Kendari receives manuscripts from various national and international scholars and researchers. The articles published in the journal have been through a process of review by peer-reviewers.
  3. Manuscript is written in the MS Word format using  Indonesian or English with the range number of pages between 15-20 pages including figures and tables or consists of 5,000 – 7,000 words.
  4. The article should be written in the 18 x 25 cm format with left margin 2.5 cm, right margin 2.5 cm, bottom margin and upper margin 2.5 cm. Manuscripts must be written in 12 pt Times New Roman font.
  5. Manuscripts should contain the components of the following scientific articles, namely: (a) title of the article, (b) author's name (without a title), (c) author's affiliation, (d) abstract and keywords, (e) introduction  (f) methods, (g) results and discussion, (h) conclusions and suggestions, and (i) reference.
  6. Writing format used is in accordance with American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition.
  7. Manuscripts should proceed online submission.

Authors who publish on JAKK can share their research in a number of ways. JAKK does not impose an embargo on published journals, meaning that researchers can access it openly after the article is published. Researchers who have subscribed to access to articles can also share.

JAKK already uses the Open Journal System (OJS) thereby enabling the final version of all published research articles to be placed in any digital archive immediately after publication. JAKK can automatically make feeds of open access articles available to any repository that wishes to receive them.
