AKTIVITAS ANTIBAKTERI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN BENALU JATI (Loranthus Spp) TERHADAP BAKTERI Staphylococcus aureus

Daun Benalu Jati merupakan salah satu tanaman yang diketahui berkhasiat sebagai antibakteri karena memiliki kandungan saponin,tanin, alkaloid dan flavonoid yang merupakan senyawa yang dapat menghambat sintesis dinding sel bakteri sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak daun benalu jati (Loranthus Spp) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Jenis penelitian eksperimen. Sampel yang diteliti adalah ekstrak daun benalu jati (Loranthus Spp), kemudian diuji daya hambat ekstrak daun benalu jati terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Pengujian dilakukan dengan 7 kali perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan dengan metode cylinder cup, daya antibakteri ekstrak daun benalu jati diamati setelah diinkubasi selama 1 x 24 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun benalu jati pada konsentrasi 5% dan 10% tidak menghasilkan zona hambat tetapi pada konsentrasi 15% ekstrak daun benalu jati memiliki zona hambat 7,20 mm, konsentrasi 35% ekstrak daun benalu jati memiliki zona hambat 19,58 mm, pada konsentrasi 50% ekstrak daun benalu jati memiliki zona hambat 21,32 mm, Amoxicillin (Kontrol Positif) menghasilkan zona hambat 31,65 mm dan aquadestilata (Kontrol Negatif) tidak menghasilkan zona hambat. Konsentrasi 50% mempunyai daya hambat yang paling efektif dibanding dengan kosentrasi 5% dan 10%.

Abstract
Parasite Leaves Teak is one of the plants that are known efficacious antibacterial because it contained saponins, tannins, alkaloids and flavonoids which are compounds that can inhibited cell wall synthesis in bacteria until used as antibacterial. This study aims to determine the inhibited of Parasite teak leaf extract (Loranthus Spp) on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus.This study used experiment. The samples studied are parasite teak leaf extract (Loranthus Spp), then tested the inhibition of parasite teak leaf extract on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. Tests conducted by 7 times the treatments and 3 replications with cylinder cup method, power antibacterial teak leaf extract parasite was observed after incubation for 1 x 24 hours.The results showed that the leaf extract teak parasite at concentrations of 5% and 10% did not produce inhibition zone but at a 15% concentration of parasites teak leaf extract has inhibitory zone 7.20 mm, at a concentration of 35% parasite teak leaf extract has inhibitory zone 19.58 mm, at a concentration of 50% parasite teak leaf extract has inhibitory zone 21.32 mm, Amoxicillin (Positive Control) yields 31.65 mm zone of inhibition and aquadestilata (negative control) did not produced inhibition zone. From the data obtained can be concluded that the concentration of 50% has the most effective inhibition compared with a concentration of 5% and 10%.
