PROFIL LIPID PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELLITUS IDENTIFIKASI TELUR SOIL TRANSMITTED HELMINTH (STH) PADA SAYURAN KUBIS (BRASSICA OLERACEA) DI PASAR BARUGA KOTA KENDARI
Abstract

ABSTRACT
Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) is an intestinal nematode that in its life cycle requires soil for its maturation process. Soil Transmitted Helminth Eggs can be found in vegetables where the washing process and presentation are incorrect, so when consumed the Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) egg is swallowed and infects humans. Soil Transmitted Helminth Infection (STH) can cause health problems, nutrition and can lead to decreased intelligence for infected children.
The purpose of this research is to know the existence of Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) egg on cabbage vegetable at Baruga market of Kendari City, using Sedimentation method. The type of research used is observational descriptive to know the existence of worm eggs Transmitted Helminth (STH) in cabbage vegetables (Brassica oleracea). The number of samples in this study were 15 samples of cabbage vegetables. Result of research which have been done at Kendari Health Analytical Laboratory Laboratory on 15 samples obtained negative result with 100% percentage.
